Soaply Natural Laundry Detergent - Colours - MAGNIFICENT Magnolia 1 Litre 23 Washes
Our summary: we love the ethos of this company because they went and found an excellent product that's natural and sustainable and even fair trade, and we love the packaging - made from recycled plastic and looks good on any shelf!
Clean is really clean… when you choose sustainable ingredients. Soaply only uses the best natural ingredients and your laundry is done without synthetic perfumes, dyes and microplastics. Soaply uses the skin of the Sapindus fruit from the Himalayas, which contains a natural soap. Better for the environment and everyone involved.
This 99.8% natural colour laundry detergent from Soaply effectively cleans your laundry and makes colours last longer, even at 20°C.
Soaply is Europe’s first Fair Trade Cleaning Brand, certified by The Vegan Society, Ecocert, World Fair Trade Organisation and B-Corp. Their products are over 99% natural and they're aiming to achieve 100% on all products soon - this hand soap already is 100%.
Benefits for you and the environment:
When you wash your hands with Soaply, you contribute to a positive impact on people and the environment: they create better working and living conditions for the soap shell farmers (they give fair trade wages) and local social workers (who help with packaging), they replace synthetic raw materials with 100% natural ingredients and recycled plastic.
By paying a fair price for our natural resources, we create value for nature. And that's important. For example, the Sapindus trees in Nepal are preserved and it becomes more interesting for farmers to plant trees when they are paid fairly for their produce.
There are also less CO2 emmisions with Soaply because the more natural an ingredient, the less the ingredient needs to be processed. That saves CO2 emissions as takes less energy to make and less energy to filter out of wastewater. In addition, all ingredients are filtered out of the water by water treatment plants. When using Soaply, the wastewater is significantly cleaner. So it takes less energy to purify the wastewater.

A little bit about Soaply:
Soaply makes washing and cleaning products with (at least) 99% natural ingredients, without unnecessary fossil fuels. Like the shells of the Sapindus mukorossi fruit that grow in abundance on trees in Nepal and produce a natural form of soap.
It started in March 2013, when Dutch students Melvin and Jasper saw on television how people in Nepal were making natural soap from fruit shells. Sapindus peels contain saponin, a natural form of soap, which is released when the shells come into contact with water. Melvin and Jasper saw an opportunity to make people happy with a wonderful product, and at the same time improve working and living conditions in Nepal so they scraped together their student loans to get a first shipment of shells to the Netherlands.
And now, Soaply makes detergents, fabric softener, dishwasher liquids, all-purpose cleaners, hand soaps as well as soaps bars from nature’s best ingredients.
