Hevea Natural Baby Soother 2 Pack Orthodontic Teat NEWBORN - Mellow Mint & Milky White
Our summary: Hevea soothers have been a favourite of our customers for a long time now and with good reason - they don't have any seams or joins so nowhere for bacteria to lurk, they're made from natural rubber a smell babies love, and they're super cute and sustainable too!
The iconic HEVEA pacifiers are made from pure natural rubber, giving you – and your little one – an unmatched level of soft, safe and comfort, giving everyone a little peace and quiet, without putting any unnecessary pressure on our planet.
Hevea pacifiers are completely plastic-free and made without phthalates, BPA or heavy metals, using just pure natural rubber (and plant-based, FDA approved pigments for the coloured ones).
Babies love the smell of natural rubber and the special odour makes it easy for baby to identify and provide reassurance.
The pacifier has a silky smooth touch and is gentle on the baby’s face and teeth, but still resistant to bites. The ergonomic butterfly shape gives space for your child’s nose and chin and won’t vacuum around their mouth.
Easy to clean in hot water and highly hygienic due to its seamless design as one solid piece so there are no crevices for bacteria and germs to lurk.
With the flattened bottom and rounded top, our orthodontic pacifiers are designed to prevent dental misalignment and orthodontic issues later in life, as baby teeth come in and eventually give way to adult teeth. Incredibly popular, the Orthodontic pacifier is the best-selling pacifier shape.
Help little ones settle without any unnecessary pressure on our planet

… just 100% natural rubber from the Hevea Brasisliensis tree. The name "Hevea" originates from the Latin name for a genus of rubber trees, Hevea Brasiliensis.
Hevea pacifiers are different from all other pacifiers because they are produced sustainably from 100% natural rubber, which is a natural sap from the rubber tree. As natural rubber is an all natural material it can change in colour and size over time. How significant this change will be on a specific product will vary due to how hard the child sucks on the pacifier, how long it has been used, how many pacifiers the child has in use at a time (if you use only one, it will naturally be used way more than if you alter between a few), how it has been cleaned etc. Therefore when you compare a used pacifier to a new of the exact same style and size, the new one will be smaller, until it has been in use for a while. But this does not mean there is anything wrong with the product, it is simply the nature of natural rubber. Also as it is biodegradable, it needs to stay of out sunlight and moist environments to prolong its lifespan. Natural rubber can be broken down physically and/or chemically by microorganisms.
SAFETY ADVICE:
Do not leave a soother in direct sunlight or near a source of heat, or leave in disinfectant (“”sterilising solution””) for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the teat. In the event that the soother becomes lodged in the mouth, DO NOT PANIC; it cannot be swallowed and is designed to cope with such an event. Remove from the mouth with care, as gently as possible. Do not attach to any part of the pacifier/soother (i.e around the ring, plug or through the ventilation holes) pins, ribbons or string as these can be dangerous.
Do not tie the pacifier/soother tightly to strings, straps, tapes or similar things in the child’s clothing, as this could risk choking the child
The pacifier/soother is constructed, so that it cannot be swallowed by the child. Check daily that the pacifier/soother is in good condition. This is done by pulling on the various parts of the soother and checking that it is still in good condition. If there are splits or changes in the soother, it should be discarded. For both safety and hygiene reasons, the soother should be discarded after a maximum of two months use.
