Ecoleaf 100% Recycled Paper 3 Ply Jumbo Kitchen Roll - Three Times The Size
Our Summary: The jumbo roll lasts for ages, doesn't tear easily and is nice and absorbent so not much needed. A favourite in our home already!
Contains 165 sheets per roll – thats 3 times as many sheets as your average roll.
That means less trips to the shop to buy some more, it’s easier to store, more spills can be mopped up – and your carbon footprint will be reduced - everyone's a winner.
It is made with 100% recycled paper tissue making this a truly green alternative to regular kitchen roll.
Perfect for any eco-conscious family.
As with Ecoeleafs other paper products like the popular toilet roll, the kitchen towels are made from 100% recycled fibre sourced exclusively from the UK, produced from a mix of consumer and trade waste using chlorine-free processing. Every effort is made to maximise loads and minimise road miles.
To counter the carbon footprint during the manufacturing process, Ecoleaf work in partnership with Treesponsibility to minimize the environmental impact of their products.
This product is Vegan. Recyclable paper packaging.
A little bit about Suma, the makers of Ecoleaf:
Suma have always done things a bit differently. Vegetarianism, sustainability and co-operation are at their heart, so they like to put these values in practice. And we love that they're an ethical co-operative so all profits go back to the staff.
Suma have been supplying natural, responsibly-sourced products since 1977, the UK’s biggest worker’s co-operative and Europe’s largest single-pay employer. They are not like a traditional business, they are owned and managed by their workforce, offer equal pay and an equal say in the business for all members.
Environment - All products and services are responsibly sourced. Running a business leaves a carbon footprint, so they offset emissions through planting trees with Treesponsibility, who have granted them carbon neutral status.
Organic - they brought the first organic tinned tomatoes to the UK in the early nineties, and organic tinned sweetcorn in the mid noughties. Roughly 47% of overall stock is organic, and are licensees of the Soil Association, celebrating and supporting Organic September annually.
Fair-trade - they stock over 650 Fairtrade certified products, and support Fairtrade Fortnight. They work with a number of Fairtrade suppliers globally, and the warehouse and offices are based in a Fairtrade town.
Cruelty Free - All of their bodycare, cosmetics and cleaning products are cruelty-free. This means that no animal testing is conducted within the trials, development or creation of the products. Many carry the UK Leaping Bunny cruelty free symbol. The range uses naturally-occurring fragrances, have nothing nasty such as chemicals added, and are all vegetarian, with a selection of vegan options also available.
