Biosolis’ mission statement has always been the same since it was created in 2010: to protect us from UVA/UVB rays by using ingredients that are healthy for both people and the environment.
By way of background, Cédric has been an avid scuba diver since childhood and was very quickly made aware of the condition of corals and the impact that chemical sunscreens had on their destruction. In 2008, during a trip, he became aware of the dramatic issues behind this pollution. He then spoke to his partner Antoine d’Ydewalle, and the two of them – with the help of experts – decided to design natural sun protection products. Aware of the extreme complexity required to develop a range of organic sun protection products, they launched a first range in 2010, and it has been evolving ever since.
Biosolis is now one of the pioneers in the development of mineral filter sunscreens. Since Biosolis’ creation, the formulas have never ceased to evolve, in order to guarantee maximum protection while optimising ease of application for all skin types.
Advice for Use in the Sun:
Apply generously the suncare product before exposing yourself to the sun (2mg/cm² of skin). For the SUN SPRAY SPF50 SHAKE WELL BEFORE EACH USE. Reapply frequently to maintain protection, especially after perspiring, swimming, or at least every 2 hours.
Precautions: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes or broken skin. Do not ingest. Do not spray on clothing. The mineral filters can cause stains. Keep out of reach of children .In case of skin reaction, stop using immediately and consult a doctor.
Biosolis products are water resistant. However, we recommend applying the product again after spending time in the water.
General considerations:
Overexposure to the sun is a serious health threat and increases the risk of skin cancer. Do not stay too long in the sun, even while using a sunscreen products. Avoid exposure during the hottest hours of the day, between 10 am and 2 pm. Sunburn is dangerous. Don’t Expose babies and young children. Use protective clothing nevertheless. Choose the Biosolis product with the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) that correspond to your skin type and degree of sun exposure. Apply the sun protection product generously. Reducing the quantity will greatly reduce the level of protection. Wearing a hat, sunglasses and clothing covered the skin are recommended during sun exposure.
