Beaming Baby biodegradable nappies have arrived - they have taken the UK by storm and now Earthmother will be supplying them to the parents of Ireland!

Whats good about them?

* They use 30% less chemicals than standard disposable nappies, dramatically reducing the chances of nappy rash and are kind to all babies; especially those with eczema or sensitive skin.

* Better for the planet; every nappy is 40% more biodegradable than standard disposable nappies. In total, they are 65% biodegradable (including the packaging)- one of the highest percentages on the market. Most of the nappy biodegrades within 4 years instead of the mind blowing 400 years that standard nappies are estimated to take!

How they are made:
The top sheet is biodegradable, water resistant and made with natural cotton and cornstarch fibres. The absorbent layer is fortified with 100% natural cornstarch. The packaging is bio-degradable to further reduce the impact on the environment. They are gently infused with aromatherapy oils including chamomile and ylang-ylang to help protect baby’s sensitive skin and release a gentle scent. They form a naturally breathable layer against your baby’s skin.

    My daughter (8mths) seems to have a really sensitive bum - when my son (3 1/2) was in nappies it was pampers all the way but i wont put them near my daughter as her bum goes bright red nearly as soon as they touch her - I have tried pretty much every brand and these are the perfect combination: no smell/ scent no nasty chemicals, nice soft texture, good stretch and fit and finally they are well priced! What more can i do - Love them

    I got a sample to test and used it on my 11-month daughter for the night, just to properly test it. There was no leak at all, stretchy and nice in touch-they felt like leading non-biodegrable brands on the market. We are using cloth nappies but if I was using disposable ones I would definitely use these ones! In my opinion, the fact that they are eco and baby-friendly is the most important and they are winning over the other disposable nappies!

    These nappies are brilliant. Super absorbent, really cute and they smell lovely. But the best part is these are affordable and practical nappies which are not going to still be around in 400 years!

    really nice well fitting nappies. Not a nappy rash in sight. the only thing I found that was slightly negative was that I found the first size a but big for my 7llb new born, I used the naturecare newborns for a month and then switched to the beaming baby. On the Midi size now and they are fantastic. Baby is sleping through the night so he is in the same one for 9 hours, bum is always dry and never red. Great value too
